How to Plant Flowers from Selera Tags
Step-by-Step Guide
Selera Tags aren’t just beautiful – they bloom! Our seed-infused tags are designed to give your message a second life as a vibrant flower. Here’s how to plant them and enjoy their full potential:
1. Preparation
- Choose a flower pot or a garden patch with access to sunlight.
- Fill it with loose, moist (but not soggy) soil. Universal flower soil works great.
2. Soaking the Tag (optional but recommended)
- Soak the Selera tag in water for 15–30 minutes.
- This softens the paper and activates the seeds, encouraging faster sprouting.
3. Planting
- Place the tag flat on top of the soil,
- Gently press it into the surface, or cover lightly with a thin layer of soil (about 0.5 cm).
4. Watering
- Water gently with warm water.
- Keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging.
- Continue to water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks.
5. Waiting
- Place the pot in a well-lit area (avoid direct, scorching sunlight).
- Seedlings typically appear within 5–14 days, depending on seed type.
6. Flower Care
- After sprouting, keep the soil consistently moist and ensure good air circulation and sunlight.
- If growing in a pot, consider transplanting into open ground once the plant is strong enough.
Tip: Selera tags may contain seeds of wildflowers, calendula, chamomile, lavender, poppies, or seasonal mixes – so every bloom is a little surprise!
